Books: Masters of the Mind: The Seven Stories of
Mental Illness. New York: Wiley. This is Dr. Ted Millon's
unique glimpse at the evolution of thought regarding studies
of the human mind, as seen through biographies of the great
thinkers, from ancient through modern times. Written by Dr.
Ted Millon, with contributions by Drs. Seth Grossman and Sarah
Meagher.

Drs. Grossman and T. Millon set out to update and augment
the therapy model and have finished work on a three-volume
series, A Personalized Psychotherapy Approach (Wiley
2007) These books utilize the principles from
Personality-Guided Therapy, work more specifically from the
clinician's viewpoint and delve more into specific
therapeutic challenges, the personality-guided therapeutic
relationship, and focused strategies for challenging cases.

Updates: Dr. Millon and the IASPP team will also be
commencing work shortly on a fifteen-book series. Each book
will focus on one of the personality styles, and that style's
range of expression from healthy to pathological. We
anticipate these books will be published a few at a time, over
the next decade or so.
** Did that last paragraph say "15 books?" Aren't there 14
personality styles? There are some theory modifications
afoot, leading to some additions and modifications in the
taxonomy. We'll announce more as it develops...
